Amelia nodded towards Natan. "You're right. We should get going and figure it out when we get there. If any one is the leader maybe it should be the one we all started to follow. So lets head out" she didn't talk back to Forgath or Vessa. She hadn't realized how childish their conversation had been. "Would you like to lead us to a place we can relax and get to know each other?" she asked Natan. So far he seemed to be just observing and making small suggestions. Maybe it was that he didn't like any of them.
Relaxing sounded nice too. She hadn't taken many days for herself. She was usually working on her show or trying to find other places to perform her shows. She was sad that due to this adventure she would have to cancel her show tomorrow. She only got the stage one time a day and if she didn't show up for one, she might lose them all. Making sure that everything was packed away she waited for him to take the lead.

Forgath yawned."Resistant,impervious... what's the big deal? a normal person with a normal blade means no danger to me. The guy, who gave me this scar, cheated. His dagger was enchanted, that's something different." He ascended back in the air. "How about you, doc? After all,it was you,who suggested this whole leader-thing in the first place,so maybe you should take the job instead just pinpointing others?" While he talked, Forgath started 'swimming' through the air, ignoring the confused looks he received.

"I will follow the best leader. If I happen to make the best leader, then I'll try not to disappoint, but I'm not about to elect myself. My job is solely to make sure people don't get killed, unless I'm doing it myself. And enchanted blade or no, a blade will cut into you. It just won't go very far, and will likely do more damage to the blade than you. One of several reasons I have no interest in fighting you, but the primary reason is we're still on the same side... at least I think so." He tilted his head a bit, since they couldn't see his raised eyebrow with his mask on.
Natan nodded politely to the Amelia. "I'll scout ahead and circle above when I find a good location. Somewhere sheltered, far enough from a dragon, but close enough to a water supply. Possibly nearby the forest." He pointed off somewhat to the side and rather close to the dragon. Still, it was sheltered and would have to do. He flapped his wings and took off again to that location, scouting around for the best location.
It was some time before he found a decent area at the edge of the forest. The ground was even, there was a river within easy walking distance, there would undoubtedly be animals to hunt, and while it was close enough to the dragon to get there within a decent sprint, it was also far enough and obscured enough that they probably wouldn't be attacked in the night. Granted, the dragon could char the forest in one quick breath, but he didn't seem likely to, and they were more likely to get picked off and eaten if they were on the flat, meadow-like ground they were currently. It was more a matter of picking the least inconvenient way to die.
Natan still kept an eye out on the team, to make sure they weren't just trying to get him to leave. He didn't want to be a leader, but he didn't want to be left behind, either. Still, if he was, he wasn't sure that he would bother them with his presence. They would need a healer, but he wasn't sure that they needed -him- specifically. He decided he needed to accept that, if they left him.

Amelia watched the Plague Doctor fly away. A strange character. She wanted to talk to him more but she would let everyone get comfortable with each other first. As she waited for him to come back with a place to stay she took out her book and studied some moves from it. She had one done by the time he came back with the spot. "Isn't it weird how we all went after the dragon. I mean what was your cause behind it, doc" she said using the name Forgath had given him. 'Was it out of boredom or reason?" Maybe they were all meant to met each other. They could have some kind of adventure meant for them.

((He circled above the location to point it out to the others, not coming back with a location. All the characters were running or flying during the chase, and probably still are, since nobody said they stopped.))
The Doctor considered the question. "Someone running toward a dragon is bound to get hurt, and it is my job to heal the injured. ...But admittedly, I think I went with because I feel the need to do something productive to keep my mind on new things, rather than contemplating the old and the past. Angels live a very long time, you know. As of this moment, I am four-hundred fifty years old, and have experiences to match, but my life has been mostly doctoral. I felt the need for a change and did house calls when the plagues started running rampant, now I'm tired of that and want to do something more useful. Adventurers get into a good deal of trouble because they don't have doctors, so when the opportunity knocks, who am I not to let it in?" He pointed out patiently, finding himself a spot to perch on the ground and begin constructing a bonfire, though he doubted they would need it for warmth. Still, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get food. He wasn't terribly prepared for that, unfortunately.
((I think I'm going to switch out Natan's night-sight trait, it doesn't suit him.))

Amelia listened to the doctor patiently. When he started making the bonfire she tried to help him make it. "Who wants to be the hunting group, I'll go and help" thinking the same as the doctor. They couldn't all fight without food. "Anyone?" she asked as she looked around the group. A lot of them had been quiet for most of the trip and that wasn't a good thing. They all needed to get to know each other. They all needed to know each others weaknesses and what could help them. As for example she probably shouldn't go face the dragon head on but either do random stealth attacks, or do spells from further away. She wasn't sure what the doc could do except heal. Speaking of doc. "You should probably come, if anyone gets hurt why hunting we may need you. We need someone to stay behind and watch over the land too" she looked at each person. Wondering who could be best where. She liked the doctor and would prefer him with her. Vessa could be best with them. Forgath could be best anywhere. The rest hadn't spoken much so she didn't know much of there talents. "Are there any people who want to go?"
She hoped to have people who wanted to go so she could see new peoples talents. She wanted to get to know this group. When it was all over maybe they could really do more.

"A doctor can be of use anywhere, I have found. I don't know that I would be terribly useful on the hunt, but if you request my assistance, then I'll be happy to join you." Natan remarked calmly. "By the way, my name is Natan Hart. Good to meet you all." He added patiently, with just a bit of a bow for politeness. He seemed quite nice, it was rather disconcerting to think he could steal a person's organs without a second glance, but he still had a human hand in his medical bag.

NO! This wasn't fair! That was his dragon! His claim for glory... Or a quick death. Either way, who were these people? Where had they come from? Why were they following him and stealing what was rightfully his?!
He was about to speak up, then reconsidered.
He didn't much care for chitchat or exposing any more of himself. He'd done that enough already and gotten all these fools to chase him. However... Some of them looked competent enough. And competent people tended to leave behind good equipment when they met their doomed, a fate that was probably not far off, all things considered.
And then... And then... There was the elf girl.
Merely a babe, by the looks of it, and her obsession with fire was somewhat troubling, but, at the same time, enthralling. Was she worth the trouble of working with complete strangers down a decidedly lethal path? Probably not. But if Olmaz could get something out of it, it was definitely worth a try.
He kept quiet. He was moderately good at it. He'd work his charms later. Perhaps when he smelled less of corpses.
When the opportunity presented itself to go hunting with the girl - Amelia, was it? - he wasn't going to let it go to waste. Maybe show her his prowess in hunting... Woo her with a few well-placed words...
It wouldn't work, of course. It never did. Boredom, however, was a powerful catalyst.
"I'm not one for being a leader. Shouting orders is a good way of letting your presence known and, in my line of work, that's counterproductive." He grinned, hoping it looked both charming and dangerous. "I'll gladly help with the hunt, though. The good doctor robbed me of a kill today. I think it's about time I repaid the debt."

"And here I thought it was a graverobber's interest to deal with things that were already dead." The Doctor remarked dryly, tucking his wings a bit closer to his body and looking away. Perhaps he was a touch offended by the remark. "At least I assume you're a graverobber. You ran from near the church, so I presume. I could well be wrong." Natan quickly corrected himself, touching his hat politely as if to apologise for his outburst. He did -try- to be polite. Perhaps a bit too much.

Amelia nodded towards the doctor then was shocked as the one they had all started to follow finally spoke up. Maybe she had had a little effect on them. "Good" she said with a smirk "then lets head out, hopefully to find some food." She turned away from the group but as she did she caught the man looking at her. She wasn't sure why but she kind of liked it. Again finding herself shaking her head. No Amelia, she thought to herself, time for action not love. She walked into the forest, hoping the men were following her. She pulled out her fire fan and got ready. She had the urge to kill. She wasn't sure whether it was the feeling she had gotten earlier or the fact that she had been talking about fighting all day without really doing anything. Maybe she just wanted to show off. Not that she needed to with who she was. Amelia smiled and crouched down as they got further into the forest. She cleared her head of everything except helping the others.

Natan accompanied from afar, giving Amelia and the graverobber space. He seemed to have absolutely no interest in hampering their style, and kept his wings tucked in and focus elsewhere. With the mask on his face and his stiff posture, he may as well have been an out-of-place statue in the forest. He also made it a point not to be looking at them, but rather off in the distance, probably busy thinking about something else. His breathing had a weird echo inside his mask. Something plague doctors got used to.
((I can just imagine him like "I'm too old to be a chaperone. :/ Wear a rubber, because I am NOT going to help you with whatever you give one-another." Lul~ Sorry, I just love stupid OOC comments. x3 ))

The doctor was talking. Olmaz nodded dutifully. He was not listening.
The girl certainly moved gracefully. The fire in her eyes, her red hair...
Olmaz, what are you doing?
A good question indeed. He dealt with the dead, not with the living and, so far, Amelia seemed to be the liveliest person he'd ever met. She had a... Disconcerting vitality to her. It was fascinating.
Snap out of it. Focus on the hunt. Stop talking to yourself.
All good advice. He tightened the strap of his messenger bag so it hung closer to his body and, hopefully, made less noise. He also found himself increasing the distance to Amelia. She was great at illuminating the way, but may also give away their position.
Truth was, though, he was never truly comfortable in the light.

The Doctor remained still, lagging behind a long way and only creeping up when he felt he was going to lose them in the darkness. It was a quiet and still place, to a disconcerting degree.
Some time later, a moose was settling itself by the river to drink. No wonder the Doctor had settled them there.
The moose was massive, bulky, and still had huge antlers. It was the kind of beast Lumaria herself would hunt, or perhaps call to hunt with her. It certainly looked like it could take someone on physically quite easily. It sneezed and shook its head as it drank, before looking up and casting an eye around as if it had heard something. Natan decided to have nothing to do with taking that thing on. He couldn't throw anything at it, and its blunt antlers (to say nothing of hooves) would do dreadful things to him if hit. Just as well, healer classes are best left to the background, anyway. He decided to let the two 'hunters' have their fun.

And there it was. Dinner on four legs.
He turned to Amelia. "Might want to dim the fire a bit, hot stuff. Don't want to give away our position," he whispered. "I'll handle this one."
Olmaz took out his crossbow and aimed it carefully. He was crouching and calm. It was a shame to waste a bolt like that, but he daren't get any closer, lest he startle the animal. Besides, there was enough bounty there to last them for quite a while.
If you make it, that is. If your hands don't shake, if the wind doesn't throw the quiver off course, if...
He held his breath and, after a moment, fired the crossbow.

The moose was hit, but maybe not as vitally as would have been liked. It started and splashed into the river noisily (thus alerting every other bit of game in the near vicinity of the forest) and stumbled about a bit. Unfortunately, it was more enraged than frightened by being shot, and chose to launch itself at them.
"I'll be skyward when you need me." The Angel remarked with both sarcasm and fear. He jumped up into the sky to avoid the onslaught (because a broken medic is a useless medic) and stuck nearby to wait and see if they needed him. Not that he was a coward, he just knew when he absolutely wouldn't win. Still, even from his awkward vantage point he could tell that the moose was in dire pain. It could bleed out in time, if they removed the arrow. More likely, though, it would be better to shoot it in the heart from a close distance. Provided that was possible without getting skewered. Bright side? They had a surgeon nearby.
