Gods of this World
1. "The Big Brother" Achaemy Hyolis (A-kem-ee hee-oh-liss)
This is the god of the sun of this universe. Represented as a strong, tough human male. Patron god of *males *entertainers of varying kinds *sun-vampires *royalty *goldworkers *bankers *warriors *airship mechanics *etc.
Achaemy Hyolis is frequently called "The Big Brother" or just "The Brother". He is a just but fair god, and a strong fighter. He prefers to wield a single sword, with a shield in his off hand.
Patron magical beast: The Phoenix
This god can be seen wearing gold and silver heavy plate armour, with a helmet and visor to hide his tanned skin and blonde hair. Some have theorized and debated whether he is of elven descent, rather than human, causing some rifts between humans and elves. Still others insist that he occasionally is sighted having a Phoenix's wings, prompting debate as to whether he is of the Angelic species (making "The Brother" a misnomer), or suggesting he is an entirely different species.
His shield, helm, breastplate, and sword all depict a sun, though he can occasionally be sighted with phoenixes over the suns. He is most often seen at the solstice, and according to the sun vampires, he visits their lands frequently. Few people who have actually returned from that location to tell stories have said any such thing, and many assume that he only shows himself to worthy fighters, or that the vampires who suggested such things were suffering from some form of heat stroke.

2. "The Big Sister" Lumaria Saeolith (Loo-mar-ee-yah say-ol-ith)
The god of the larger of the two moons of this universe. Represented as a swift and dextrous young woman of elvin proportions.
Patron god of *Elder sisters *Female only children *Animals *Creatures *Criminals *Thieves *Rangers *Rogues *Those who need to hide from the sunlight *All forms of nocturnal creatures *Hunters *Undersea fairers *Guards *Slayers *Storms
Lumaria prefers to wield either an ebony-tinted or ivory-tinted bow with silvery arrows and string, silver daggers, or two swords. Because of this amount of silver, some have speculated that she is not the patron goddess of Werewolves, but because of her affinity for hunters and animals, common suggestion is that she is. Despite her affinity for hunting, She is said to only hunt that which is evil, and could spare the life of werewolves while hunting the slayers, if that is how things go. She is a very chaotic god, unlike her siblings. As such, her followers must be careful not to slight or accidentally insult her.
She wears grey leather armor (breastplate, shoes, gloves, pants) with white fur lining, and a dark green tunic under that. She can be said to appear in the forests of Meradil, around shipwrecks, and in the mountain regions.
Patron magical beast: According to the Island regions, it is a water dragon. Most other locations suggest it is a small, silvery spirit that accompanies her whether or not she is around water. Its design adorns her black hair in a circlet (some suggest that that itself is the serpant, while others suggest the serpant is her belt), her bows, her ankles, and the hilts of her weapons.
As with the Big Brother, elves suggest she may be one of them, because of her thin proportions. Others suggest she is a friend of the fairies, or some suggest nymph -either nyad or dryad- for her origins.

3. "The Little Sister" Karena Sartellaes (Kah-ray-nah sar-tell-ays)
This is the god of the little moon of this universe. Represented as a small, humble girl of about thirteen years of age, sometimes younger.
Patron goddess of: *Younger siblings *Over-sea fairers *Small animals *Herbivorous animals *Mages of all sorts *Doctors *Snow *Fog *Spring rains *plants *Those who take up humble jobs
Karena Sartellaes is a sweet and kind goddess, preferring magical types, particularly healers. She wields a silvery shepherd's crook. The smaller of the two moons, the little sister is the goddess of all younger siblings, over-sea fairers, small animals, herbivorous animals and creatures, mages of all sorts, doctors, weather, plants, and those who take up humble jobs. She prefers to wield a shepherd's crook.
Patron magical beast: The Unicorn
Karena's robes are pure white that can make the snow look grey in comparison, much like the pelt of the unicorn. Some have suggested it's woven of unicorn fur, but others doubt that she would borrow the pelt of another animal for her purposes. Strangely, elves don't claim Karena is one of theirs, as she is too short and far too humble. Some suggest she is an elevated human, a water spirit, or some other species unlike terrestrial beings.
Karena's robes, shockingly, don't display any form of emblem. Some suggest it is only a sign of her purity, others suggest she is not one a third god at all, but another kind of deity. Still, none dispute her existence. She is known to appear in meadows and places with fair weather, particularly in the spring time or during light snows.

Here's a drawing of the first three primary gods. It's not particularly great (certainly not my best work) but I like how the Big Brother came out, anyway. If anyone can do better, please let me know! (I might re-draw this at some point to come out better. In fact, I probably will.) i14.photobucket.com/albums/a311/pentharis/ThreegodsofPankhora.jpg

Alternative God #1
"The Dark God" (Name still under research)
The sadistic god of all things evil.
*Unborn children *Magma *Lava flows *Active volcanos *torture *River rapids *Temptation *Fear *Unholy things *Sacrifice *Etcetera.
Secluded in the Black Lands, this god does not touch down on earth, nor does he inhabit the heavens. He inhabits physical forms of other humans and turns them into demigods to do his bidding, manipulate, and scheme.
His current host is as of yet unknown, undoubtedly inhabiting the Black Lands with the Unborn Children and Judas Goats. Can he be destroyed? Doubtful. But he can be thrown off from whatever heinous deeds he is planning. Can a few new adventurers do it? Doubtful. But they can learn, grow, and try.
